Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use autoscientia.com. We have kept them short and readable — if something here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using this website you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. If you use the site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
2. Who provides this site
This website is operated by AutoScientia, a company based in Germany ("we", "us"). A full postal address for legal correspondence is available on request via legal@autoscientia.com.
3. Permitted use
You may view, read, download and print pages from this site for your own informational, non-commercial purposes. You may link to our pages.
You must not:
- copy, reproduce or republish substantial parts of the site without our written permission;
- use automated tools to scrape, harvest or bulk-download content, or to extract data for training models, without our written permission;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting, or any connected system or network;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the site, or interfere with its normal operation;
- frame or mirror parts of the site in a way that misrepresents their origin;
- use the site to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful or misleading material, or to impersonate AutoScientia.
We reserve the right to block access where we reasonably believe these rules are being broken.
4. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, diagrams, illustrations, layout, design system, code and the AutoScientia name and logo — belongs to us or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright, trademark and related rights. "AutoScientia" is our brand and may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without our written consent.
You receive no licence or right beyond what these terms explicitly grant. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
5. No offer, no advice
The content of this site is provided for general information only. It is not an offer to provide services, not a solicitation or an invitation to invest, and not research, scientific, engineering, legal, medical or financial advice.
Descriptions of our approach and roadmap describe intentions and direction, not guarantees. Statements about future capability, timelines and the results of automated experimentation are forward-looking. They depend on technical work that may succeed, partially succeed, or fail, and should not be relied on in making any decision.
6. Third-party content
This site may link to third-party websites or embed third-party resources such as fonts. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it, its availability or its data practices. Accessing a third-party site through a link is at your own risk and subject to that party's terms.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, move or discontinue parts of the site at any time and without notice, and we may adjust or remove content as our work develops.
8. Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied — including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site is free of errors, viruses or other harmful components, or that any described result can be achieved.
Mandatory statutory rights, in particular under German law, remain unaffected by this section.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health caused by our fault. Where we are responsible for a breach of an essential contractual obligation through slight negligence, liability is limited to the damage that was reasonably foreseeable and typical for this kind of contract.
Otherwise, and to the extent permitted by law, our liability for slight negligence is excluded, including for indirect or consequential damage, lost profits, loss of data or business interruption arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website.
Liability under the German Product Liability Act and for fraudulently concealed defects remains unaffected.
10. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from or in connection with them are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law provisions and excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
Where legally permissible, the place of jurisdiction is Germany. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you habitually reside remain unaffected. The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform for consumer disputes; we are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
11. Changes
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the site or the law. The version published on this page applies, with the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
